I doubt the flu killed him.

COVID-19 is not your regular flu. It can, and often does, cause permanent lung damage. It can also destroy your kidneys; some victims who survived without other major incident are now on dialysis, waiting for a transplant. The blood clots have occurred in younger people. Some of those who got them--and it seems it's usually not just one, but a number of them--were otherwise asymptomatic. They didn't realize they were sick till they collapsed and were rushed to the hospital. It seems the COVID-9 bug can act as a hypercoagulant.

People with very bad cases, like the actor we're discussing, eventually die of multiple organ failure. Others seem to recover, and are then hit with symptoms again, or even with new symptoms. Others don't need to be hospitalized a second time, or in some cases, at all, but they feel lousy for months. Extreme fatigue seems to be typical; they sleep for up to 20 hours a day.

It's not something ANYONE wants to get.
