Snackman: Maybe I'm missing something here.

When you write "soldered" you imply that the Wave technology being deployed with the Intel motherboard is a chip. But I believe it's firmware on the (Infineon?) chip. Right? If so, then the difference between "plugging in" and "soldering" is not pertinent to Wave's participation. (Still, it does demonstrate a commitment to TPM's -- security in hardware at the client.
