Jobs was great, so is Cook, but if you've ever been to Cupertino, it's very odd how there is very little reference to Jobs anymore. However, it's understandable because Cook has always looked forward. If it happens, it will be because of Williams (primarily) and Cook.
Williams took over that whole segment last year in place of Ive for some very solid reasons - mainly, that they felt development had stalled and they needed a top exec to run that group now with an engineering background and a dollars and cents outlook. Williams gives it a better shot than Ive ever would have.
