I personally have no doubt that JT and Amarin expected to win' - as did we all - end of story. ---------------------------
But a point that has not been discussed a lot here is' - that you dont have to be a genius to figure out - that the lawyer teams of these big generic companies are 'hard core' at what they do.
They do this all the time - and surely must know every 'trick in the book' when it comes to winning these cases.
I read somewhere that some of these companies have more than 200 drugs. This is indeed Big Pharma - Amarin is up against here. And surely they will have some of the best Patent Lawyer's on cases that involves billions of dollars.
So while this is survival for a small company like Amarin - it's just another day in court for generic lawyer 'blood hound' teams.
