For all in tents and porpoises NWBO most certainly could "conjecture with certainty" the reason for the hold as being related to the discrepancy in enrollment. There is no way they could say this to anyone and maintain trial integrity especially for any potential comparative purposes regarding German enrollment. This of course gave little birdie wings to bear arguments about deception, failed trial/futility, evil Linda stretching out the trial for personal gain etc.
