No, sorry. I am just speculating that the combination will be complimentary. A challenge with Car-T is using limited targets and then immune memory, preventing recurrence. I suspect the combination will be complimentary, though DCVax may need Car-T less than the other way around, except in certain circumstances. Again, just speculating. Seems like a combination with great potential to address the weaknesses of the two treatments. 1) where there is substantial tumor burden; and 2) diffuse cancers like blood cancer. I believe there is a study from India maybe about blood cancers and a dendritic cell vaccine trial, not DCVax.
I am not keyed into the Melanoma cancers though I did believe they have some very effective treatments right now, as shown by Jimmy Carter’s incredible recovery.
I am sorry about your friend. I would maybe inquire with NWBO if there is any possibility. If you were hoping there. I think others here have more info on that question than I do.
