From the time of surgery to about 3 months... no dose of DCVax is given. That 3 months represents the "screening pipeline", as we've called it, during which time, the patient receives their radiation and TMZ treatments. About that time, they are given another MRI and if there is real progression or what might be false progression ** according to the protocol criteria **, the patient was put into the EAP (expanded access protocol) trial and immediately began treatment. If the patient appeared progression free, then they were randomized into the main arm of the trial as a control or treatment patient. Their first injection would begin at that point (day 0), followed by another injection at day 10, day 20, and then two months later at week 8, 16, 32, 48, 72, 96, and 120.
