Gloom, despair and agony on me....Well, not completely or at least I hope,,Much of Trumps extremism is not working but Part of Fox's propaganda is..Republican groups are coming out against Trump, the list of honorable people against him continues to grow..Blacks are organizing to vote. The polls are showing a sizeable lead for Biden. And civic rhetoric is about to come home to roost.
(Trumps Rally was not only small in numbers but if you watched it you would realize how much of it just didn't resonate, especially the hate...A great hope is covid will continue to backfire on Trump as it spirals out of control again, the working people of this country gave up a great deal during mitigation, a disproportionate amount, they will not shut down again and are resigned to herd immunity...they don't take kindly to mitigation not working.)
Trump is now using national guard to protect national monuments,,,Just saw a Fox banner of BLM will burn down the system if demands are not met...Fox got a lot out of Seattle CHOP and all the riot porn they showed for the initial 2 wks of the Floyd demonstrations and seem to be doing well at saying the left in general don't support the police and will defund them, protesters and the left are after our founders. The left is full of insurgents and socialists...Like I said much of it just doesn't resonate but it's all from the playbook of history and the drumbeat is steady..
OK, we also have the resurgence in covid, the market is going to crash/slow down again, unemployment is still going up due to a lack of confidence in the covid pandemic, Trump is willing to insight violence, is itching to use the military,,, with covid, mail in voting will be popular and we all know Trump is planning a contested election based on it...Fox is pounding anarchy and rule of law. Our justice department is firmly in the pocket of the right extreme..The Durham Report is coming and everyday I see Fox banners planting seeds how (The Deep State) the system was out the get Trump..Inspectors in the right places fired, military reversal on Cozier. Add it all up, especially the covid, contested election, claims of anarchy...all this can create a sense of chaos, and chaos and violence, if only perceived by contrived imagery, is exactly what a hopeful autocracy feeds off of to take control..Then think what those hopeful do when when backed into a corner...
Trump and The Autocrats have tipped their hand, the question is, is anyone on the left actually preparing for these scenarios, If they are, are they strong enough....Impeachment failed, Mueller failed, hearings are worthless and complaints have not stopped the steady march against democracy and toward autocracy in firings, oversight and most court cases...The left seems weak against the rhetoric of the right,,, “If a president does something which he believes will help him get elected in the public interest, that cannot be the kind of quid pro quo that results in an impeachment,”......Really!
Memes and Outrage against Trump are great,,Biden letting Trump beat himself has worked so far, I'm just hoping and worried that people are not underestimating Trump and not underestimating the powers standing just behind him...Need the kids to join in, the Bernie voters, not just talk by the honorable but action in orgaization, Mattis And Kelly should campaign and other DOJ officials who have retired.... leadership. Few don't see the takeover that is poised..Stopping it is another matter as factions of the right continue to manipulate..
If there is an insurgency called for do you want the working class follow it or fight against it, something to think about..It's not like the thought isn't already there due to social economic factors
