It's true that none of us know for sure how this trial is going to play out. It's also true that none of us can rule out the possibility that the next Super Bowl (if it ever arrives) will start with 5 straight safeties. I would still be comfortable encouraging the board not to expect 5 straight safeties as they plan their betting approach.
As board clown, I feel uniquely qualified to point out proffered outcomes that seem clownish to the reasonable observer. And that's what I've done this morning. No more, no less.
