Agreed, to some extent, and not to some extent. Either situation is a step forward. But hard lock gives a sense that the end is near, and soft lock could go on for a while and extend that data lock and release of TLD further into the future, likely not far, but exploitable by shorts. As I said, in my initial posts, maybe not clearly, it is a dynamic decision, not an either or decision. If they reach the end of this week and don’t have any lock, that is more meaningful, but it could mean that actually everything is on schedule. but, if people think they have promised to PR any lock, that is another thing. People on bulletin boards claim promises were made to them personally. In my opinion, individual conversations, memorialized by people who had them on bulletin boards is not really an ideal way to commit a company to a public relations strategy.

But, they did say, in their official PR release, that if there is a change in their schedule that causes a delay, then they will update us again. So it depends how you interpret the situation.

Shareholders, in their anxiety may have created an inherently exploitable situation for shorts, no matter what the company does, except if it’s a hard lock.

I hate this stuff. But what they choose to say or update about is a dynamic situation. It depends, to some extent on things that have happened, and things that have been said, sometimes in private. In my opinion, companies should not allow themselves to be manipulated like that. NWBO is not the first, nor will it be the last to allow that. And maybe they always intended to update, on any news. But these situations almost always get exploited by traders.
