I think the transfer agent was being too optimistic.

Once the attorney letter is (was?) done, it needs/needed to be sent to DTC, then someone at DTC has to find it, read it, understand it, agree with it, do what ever to free the shares then swap them, so the brokers can return them to our accounts.

Today, was IMHO the soonest it might happen, and Wednesday the latest some might start seeing their shares, if there were no glitches with the attorney letter...

I am in no rush to sell, so I am not worried.
