I completely agree with you that the tax issue should not have been a showstopper. Even if there is a decent amount involved (say NOL carry forward or the treatment of the $15M grant), it doe not preclude filing.

No real theories on what is really up. But I did notice that the MD area Costcos have a shortage of Purina.
