B...The vacatur case that was cited...revolved around the public interest in conserving judicial resources...The Amarin case involved something more important...i.e. conservation of public health.

Interesting case and going by this settlement is Remotely possible if both parties agree to settle and vacate dc order.

Not sure about the timeline, it seems went back and forth between DC and FC, is this what going to play out?

So three possible outcomes for appeal, win, lose and settle. In no circumstances, it will be fast and final. Amrn needs to prepare to deal with this for a long time...

Settlement and Vacatur is in the best interest of the Public

IF you believe Amarin will spend 100's of millions of dollars educating the public and our medical establishment on how Vascepa could save millions of lives then vacatur is the best ethical & legal approach.

Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the US, killing 600,000+ people each year.

Settlement and vacating the District Courts decision would enable the system to deliver Vascepa to many more people saving an enormous number of lives for many years into the future.
