First of all, underdeveloped countries DO matter and could use all the help they can get.

Secondly, you understand ventilators are used outside the realm of Covid as well, yes? I would guess there is a huge market for affordable/portable ventilators — but that’s just me.

You are way off this product is affordable very affordable that means that companies can afford to buy many of them for things like ambulances medical schools hospitals clinics the military this product has extreme potential because of the cost and efficiency

They are EXCITED because there are 120,000 DEAD PEOPLE (so far) in the United States because not a SINGLE FREAKING billion dollar company or super-genius doctor or laboratory with unlimited resources can provide any sort of relief.
And heaven help you if you live in an underdeveloped country and get sick.
So maybe since it's not like any amazing inventions are taking the world by storm right now, a little "wait & see" might be in order before just immediately slamming something because George Sharp's name is involved.
So yes, some people are excited.
Why not?
It beats just giving up.
