I go stright to management for any information I am looking for.Most of the time if news will becoming out they will tell you a PR is coming.It is not considered inside information to know when a PR is coming,only if you were to know what is in it.If you check my record it is better then 50% accurate about news coming.
As far as Appi you dont have to speak to anyone to see that PR's have come out 3 tuesdays in a row.So I think it is safe to assume from past experience the company likes to put their PR's out on tuesdays,in fact last tues.they put out 2 PR's.
