Nope, not a word shared.

I am assuming that the caretakers have been spreading the word around (and are happy to do that) in the Rett community about A2-73.

No, this matter has been decidedly settled here. Lots of previous discussion regarding what constitutes a fully-blinded clinical study. Nobody knows nothing during the study, except a blinded, inaccessible computer record of cogent study info.

So, let's be clear. The chances of the mother of one Rett child in the study calling up and talking to another such mother, telling her that her daughter, all of a sudden, since the start of the study, is now sleeping well and has much-improved muscle control, just wouldn't happen. The mothers of the girls in the study were all told that no one knows who's getting the drug and who's getting the placebo; even the doctors themselves don't know. So, "Don't be spreading rumors about how good or bad the drug is."

We know how mothers are. When it comes to the health and welfare of their children (and the validity of a fully-blinded clinical study) they are going to play everything straight, exactly as instructed. Women just don't share or discuss questionable information at any time.

And, in the same vein, gravity terminates at the edge of the planet, so the oceans don't drain off the edge.
