Unfortunately other people and especially the news and political leaders have made it a political argument.

And here is the problem: when scientists are pushed to try to do research too quickly we get what we’re getting. Ironically looking at NWBO and how long it took to figure out how to show what they had could be proven statistically they had to have the correct model and then the correct SAP. It took sticking with it and not throwing in the towel and starting over. It took looking at what you were seeing in front of you and proving it so no one could fuck with you politically or with business clout (really those two are intertwined).

Maybe we’re not using the right modeling, not using the correct SAPs for these COVID trials? I simply don’t have the energy or time as I’m working 20 x 12 hour shifts/mo. And teaching, and running a side Media Business.

But if they don’t figure this out and come fall we’re getting creamed again in the ED I’m pretty sure I’ll be giving Hydroxychloroquine and Zithromax, Zinc, Vitamin D to those not being admitted. I’m not going to sit around and do nothing, waiting for someone to tell me.
