Buyout: This is one such scenario to counter your point (which is a good one of course). This is a reason for a buyout. One way for multi billion dollar corporations to eliminate comperition it to simply buyout. To recall that post about over 800 million in volume paints a picture of that. Unrelated any news of a FDA appoved or EU approved drug just on news sends this up IMO. Good post though you have to see what other competition is out there.
