Pretty much agree that Davis can call her own shots,

I read the SEC settlement and didn’t see any direct linkage. But given that the SEC is still looking over their shoulder on compliance with the terms and probably corresponds with the company from time to time, I’m sure that added to the tension over signing anything that might have some questions.

For those of us in business, we all know what a serious and experienced CPA with an audit background can be like. I have to believe that her head began to spin at some point.
