I read the book and saw the documentary. It is unbelievable how this could happen for so many years. I agree with what you stated.
It appears to me that Michael Lebby is a different kind of CEO; The only mistake I can remember is the "fasten your seabelt " quote.
We now know he referred to the technical accomplishments he was expecting. I do not think he will make that mistake twice.

His task is to bring the technology up to a certain point that partners/customers cannot neglect us anymore;
If you think that you cannot trust management you should sell. Management integrity is number one on my list.

I want to add this also You may try to fool shareholders with test results, but if you see the many patents which LWLG have been granted they have to pass the necessary checks.

She faked her test results and did not send a machine out to independent users for testing. She had a black box and a hidden traditional testing production line in her building. When LWLG potential customers test a device in their systems, the proof deals will come.
