That $15M NOL stands out. If this was in the German subsidiary then they might not be able to upstream it. And that subsidiary might have been considered no longer active.

That would tie in with LP taking the paper title as COB of the German subsidiary.

Alas this would not be nearly as much fun as my next theory involving black helicopters would have been :-)
