I must be tired, but help me out here marz/someone, isn't the below from the paper a "double negative"?

Our result
indicates that we could not reject the hypothesis of no difference in
effect of DHA vs. EPA on LDL cholesterol at any reasonable level of
statistical significance.

Wouldn't this be more clear if they said (by removing the "negatives"):

"Our result
indicates that we could xxx reject the hypothesis of xx difference in
effect of DHA vs. EPA on LDL cholesterol at any reasonable level of
statistical significance.

Just trying to read and make some sense into their conclusion. Just sounds odd to me at the moment.

Been long day, so maybe my comprehension is off.
