sinful) Let me try and answer that question with an informed opinion. I don't think GTE/M is going to give away any more information than they have to. When they stated the integrated systems test was a success, they are talking about the communication technology combined with the Strat technology. We will learn more about the flight systems as we progress through the altitude testing at Edwards A.F.B. It appears to me that we had this test to gather data about the system integration before the move. I also think there was something about those in attendance we were not told about, but will be! Clearly another step though IMO in the effort to get to higher altitudes which IMO are on the way in early 07!

sinful, your not only wrong, I can now see how ignorance spreads and misinfo runs rampant on boards. sad you are to say the least for your deceptive efforts.
"The test commenced at approximately 8:00 a.m. Pacific time under mostly clear skies with winds out of the south at approximately 3 mph, providing ideal testing conditions. The airship contained GlobeTel's proprietary HotZone 4010 technology, with Wi-Fi, WiMax and VoIP over DECT capabilities within one unit. The HotZone provided wireless broadband coverage for the invited guests, who also tested the system by using a DECT standard cordless phone to place calls that were routed through GlobeTel's StrateVoIP voice over IP platform. In addition to providing internet access and telephone service, the Sanswire 2A provided a real-time video surveillance feed from a remote control camera attached to the airship.

This convergence of GlobeTel technologies demonstrates the effectiveness of delivering communications via the processes the Company had all along envisioned.

"I'm extremely proud of the work of our team," said Sanswire President Doug Murch. "Their dedication has put us at the forefront of using airships as communications platforms."

"This is truly a landmark day for Sanswire and GlobeTel," announced Peter Khoury, Chief Executive Officer of GlobeTel Communications. "We've confirmed to prospective partners, potential customers, our shareholders and ourselves that the Stratellite(TM) concept of integration is achievable. The data collected via this test will now be evaluated by the Sanswire engineers to determine a schedule for moving ahead toward flight. Doug Murch and the entire Sanswire team brought innovation and dedication one step closer to actualization today."

sinful I guess I just don't get your concern. The announcement said it would rise in the air with these systems on board. It never stated an intent to test them. If they tested them that's wonderful, if they didn't so what they will the next time. I'm certain the items were on the strat as it was clear they wanted a load. My guess is that they tested the navigation items but as it wasn't stated that they would or that they did, the point it moot.
