I hear you. I understand it’s not ideal to have to keep things tamped down, and I do not even think we’re able to stick with that easily now, given the challenges of our rioting cities. I think we will almost certainly have more outbreaks that we probably would not have had but for this last weekend or so.
Human societies are difficult to manage. Countries like Canada, are making it far easier for their citizens than we are to survive and economically overcome these challenges. That is the nature of our political divisions that jealousies prevent us from acting toward one another the same way as many other diverse nations that have a less contentious history in recent times.
The challenge is whether we can achieve a state of health closer to New Zealand or to Brazil. I think we are headed toward being more like Brazil, unfortunately.
