There has been zero development in the e-nose field except for sensors. If MyDX would have started today and came up with the same device then it would have been just as 0-day as it was 6 years ago. You are really focusing on the wrong thing here. Just compare it to pens. A pen today does not write better then a pen ten years ago. Sensors though.. thats a whole different story. Development with e-nose sensors is in a huge rapid. MyDX could hitch a ride.. but I doubt they are capable enough and have enough money, let alone for marketing.
