Both positivism and negativism are fine for discussion until they get to the polarized extreme of intractability. Sadly, that's where this conversation has gone in just one weekend's time.

Calabria asked for too much in his Proposal. I get that. I agree with that. But it was a starting point that can easily get whittled down during the discussion phase. While it's easy to take the Maloni route and bash and batter him, his only crime, really, is not doing an interview since where he explained the Capital increase, in real depth.

My guess is that as much as I distrust MC, he had no choice because he is caught in the crossfire between Congressional leadership and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin. My opinion as after reading all 424 pages, much of it more than 1 time, that he delivered a helluva lot better future than what Watt's Proposal sought or could have ever achieved.

I am extremely disappointed by the passionate talk and near-violent pushback against the Proposal which, largely, to me seems focused WAY more on "I do not get enough, or fast enough" than the reality that ANYTHING is better than 12 years of NOTHING, and lot's more could come with patience and effort during the rulemaking comments period.

The BROAD negativism exhibited on this and multiple other forums threatens the ability for ANY capital to be raised, let alone the record amount required for release from Financial Prison.
