Judge Wallach was appointed to the CAFC in 2011...He took a leave of absence to serve as General Counsel and Public Policy Advisor to Senator Harry Reid from 1987 to 1988...Senator Reid was a major supporter of Judge's appointment to the CAFC...I believe Judge Wallach would recuse himself from appeal case involving a decision of Judge Du's.
