The shareholders are the company. How do you think the price of the stocks is calculated?
The shareholders have an economic claim on all the profits generated by the companies (line item: Net Income attributable to the common shareholders). This is why a direct claim or derivative claim, is the same for the shareholders, as the outcome of a direct claim is reflected in the stock price.
Money stolen from the enterprises is money stolen from the shareholders.

For the holders of JPS is other theme. The JPS price depends exclusively on the time period to resume the coupon payments.

IF the companies perform bad and lose their revenue due to the NWS or being forced into conservatorship, then the share price is impacted to the downside and thus shareholders lose money. If Fannie and Freddie were not paying the NWS each quarter and were keeping their profits, and they were not in conservatorship falsely then the FNMA / FMCC share price right now would be trading north of $100 PPS and not $2.18 PPS. We have been directly impacted by the Government taking over the companies and stealing their revenue each quarter which directly impacts our share price. What about the folks that brought FNMA/FMCC shares at average cost of $60 PPS? what you say to them? Were they not ripped off by the turn of events that happened illegally with the conservatorship that was never needed? We have proof that the CFO of Fannie in 2012 said the company was completely solvent and did not need the $100 Billion bailout money. It was just done to put the GSEs in conservatorship so the government can legally steal their money with their Illegal NWS law passed by Congress around that time.

You are not going to convince me after holding this stock for more than 10 years that I was not ripped off by the government in this investment.
Don't play words with me. I know exactly what I got and what was taken away from me and millions of other people who invested in these stocks. I knew of a gentleman in 2012 who was a multi-millionaire who committed suicide over the fact that his fortune was gone over night because of what the government did to these companies which affected the stock price. Its time for the government to do what is right and make it possible for Fannie and Freddie to trade at their rightful price of $100+ PPS.
