Despite what everyone thinks, Bob is a very shrewd guy and can't stand not being totally in charge. VR is in its infancy and he doesn't have the leeway to gamble on his plans. IMO, if he didn't have Dutchess to deal with when Jones left, he would have gone private at that time. He built this company from nothing and everyone yells about his CEO ability. WRONG.
