If it weren't for actor Jeremy Piven being all over the news in 2008 claiming he had mercury poisoning I never would have thought to get checked for heavy metal poisoning - in the years prior to becoming disabled I'd have almost one old amalgam filling/yr ground out and replaced, most of them by caps - my CNS symptoms became very severe after the last one was done in 2006. Was exposed to lead at several workplaces over the years, no idea where the cadmium came from, unless it's part of lead/tin solder.
