sts...attached is recent youtube video detailing the surrender by General Paulus to the Russians. His first interrogation is quite fascinating. The guy was between a rock and a hard place. Hitler wouldn't let Paulus break out of the pocket. The Russians were prepared to annihilate every last remaining German soldier. As has been mentioned..."war is hell."
This little documentary is a first hand eyewitness account with notes taken as to the conversation between Paulus and the Russian generals. The eyewitness was a Russian photographer.
