The share price may have already priced in the additional number of shares to be on the market.

Trying to pinpoint the pps/#of-share connection is folly.

There is the overall company asset and income value, there is the market perception of the possible growth of that value, there are the number of shares outstanding, and there is the pps. Conceptually they are coupled, but in actuality, the schitzo market does the pricing at any given moment.

Considering everything going on with this company it will be no effect on PPS. Today PPS is moving based on other matters discussed on this board and some unknown ones. Good luck.

I think the PPS was impacted after 11-30-06, the cutoff date for receiving the divvy. The 12-18 ex-div date makes no sense in relation to Nov 30. Certainly smart investors would have discounted MDFY shares after the 5:4 split was not available to them.
