Following more than a year and a half of litigation during which the Equity Committee successfully defeated confirmation of two prior plans, the Equity Committee engaged in weeks of very intense negotiations with individual creditors, the Debtors, the Creditors Committee and other parties-in-interest to arrive at the terms of the Seventh Amended Plan, including the assets to be held by Reorganized WMI.
