Actually the CDC does give guidelines for public areas, unless you have an ATM in the kitchen

"Electronics
For electronics, such as tablets, touch screens, keyboards, remote controls, and ATM machines

Consider putting a wipeable cover on electronics.
Follow manufacturer’s instruction for cleaning and dinfecting.
If no guidance, use alcohol-based wipes or sprays containing at least 70% alcohol. Dry surface thoroughly."

Really, the outdoor section? Because it says "Outdoor areas, generally require normal routine cleaning, but do not require disinfection."

Youre right on the airlines:
Recent studies indicate that the virus can be spread by people before they develop symptoms (pre-symptomatic) or who never develop symptoms (asymptomatic). It also may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. However, this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.

2nd paragraph

Once again, don't go licking stuff.

The part that one touches on the reader can be cleaned as instructed by my representative.

Hi Lindel,
Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today.

For the finger vein reader, you place your finger across the two black plastic guides that are raised over the glass sensor. To sanitize them you can take a Lysol or Clorox cloth to the plastic guides. When people are scanning the finger with this reader the black plastic guides in the front and reader of this device are the only places people should be touching.

Thanks

So as you can see like anything else it is common sense on what to wipe down and also clean your own hands after you touch public things.
If we go by public fear of touching things and not cleaning our own hands afterwards we would never open the country again...Stay safe and do what you know you are suppose to do.
