The two I never could master were Computer code assembly language. My father could read and write that insane stuff on the fly.
Software, inside software complies all that code now. Code that no one ever sees.
Wordpad is great on Windows. Real easy and fast. I replaced my 3 Rolodexes, and banker boxes of business cards with Google ages ago. I force myself to keep up with tech, but then again tech is my life.
But I was writing computer code 30 years ago for process control...systems. They called it Fortran, goes back the 1960s and IBM/NASA/Apollo days.
