NAK..I’m sure Jesse would have adapted..When you open a brokerage Acct you agree to let them control your shares that you don’t have a sell order on..The brokerage makes these shares available to borrow for a fee..This is why you always put you shares for sale so it makes shares harder/more expensive to obtain to people who want to short(potentially in theory)
