#272966 RE: amarininvestor #272954

I researched how long it generally takes, back in April. The research revealed that when the Federal Circuit renders an unpublished, non-precedential decision, written for the parties, but not meant to be binding throughout the land (Nothing to see here!), the decision on average comes in thirty (30) days.

However, when the Federal Circuit renders a published precedential decision, the average is four (4) months. I think the grant of Amarin's unopposed motion to expedite, could very well speed that up, but it is no guarantee, and I have not yet found articles on the effect of an expedited appeal process on the timetable for publishing a precedential decision.

I think if the is argued in July/August, we should condition ourselves for November/December, but if it comes earlier, consider it a pleasant (or unpleasant) surprise.
