Th, I think because Poets Optical Interposer currently is targeting the shorter reach that LWLG will address with it's 1310 now

But I think Poet could have gone after the 10km market as well with some alterations to its current technology for the OI

I've been saying for a long time the two technologies are complementary, and it is possible to bring them together for an unstoppable product in next-gen transceivers
