ah, gotcha

That all sounds completely familiar and it all seems to be working and well

They also gave me a bottle of tramadol but I try not to take that one because it makes me kinda dizzy

I have a question in general about the entire anethesia thing for surgery...

Once upon a time when I was a kid I watched a program on tv and in China they did an open-heart surgery on a woman and after a little rest, walked her back to her room. They used acupuncture for anesthesia, she was awake the whole time.

Meanwhile, the dentist uses numzit stuff for your mouth and it lasts a couple hours.

So why does it seem like nobody tries to do "local" anesthetic all the way in and out only ? Why so much general anesthesia for surgery ?

Is local anesthetic bad for tissue recovery ?
