Ummm car accidents account for less than 3k monthly deaths, while cancer & CV account for 110k monthly deaths. What happens when these sick folks stay home and don't go to their doc / hospital? That's right, they die.

And COVID-19 vs flu: I looked up a random state, Massachusetts:

Population 7 million. COVID-19 deaths for those younger than 50: 54, younger than 60: 211, average age of death from COVID-19: 82
