#624469 RE: ItsMyOption #624464

itsmyoption....I have been selling puts when the stock drops significantly...also been selling some stock into the rally with my playing stash...like today, I got 9.75 at the high this morning, and will buy back monday when they drop the price again...I just don't see any sustained rally with 6.11% of the O/S in short position.. also the daily short volume tells a tale each day... they bring it up on low volume and then grab the stops and the lower the price again... what I have been noticing, is that when I place an order to sell about 8 or 9 cents above the quoted price, the MM take it up and grab them, then quickly lower the price again... so, they are buying quietly as they raise the price... so what to do about selling call options?... they don't give enough premium to take the risk of assignment of your stock to them at 10 dollar strike price... they are offering cheap premiums to get you to sell call options...do not do it..use you playing shares to get in and out on the price rise, and sell put premiums out to october on the 2.50. or 5 strike price...Lodas
