It's no different than institutional holdings. Institutions must report the number of shares they hold in a security no later than 45 days after the close of a quarter. Institutional holdings that will be reported in next week will be holdings as of March 31, not May 15. Likewise, institutional holdings at June 30 will be reported in mid-August.
