As quickly as suit information appeared here and on twitter it's inconceivable that he was unaware of it. If he wanted to defend himself the contact information for the lawyers is right on the suit. Unless it happened immediately why didn't he update the registered agent address at Washington. Prime purpose of a registered agent is to accept legal papers.

The first and last addresses are what was given to Washington state as the address for Pacific Processing's registered agent. That address also appears on the police report as Costello's "last known address" The second address below is the corporate address given to Washington state for Pacific Processing, PBC's parent company. It doesn't say the buildings were closed, said they were vacant.

"A second attempt was made to serve Pacific Banking Corp., a Washington corporation, Justin Costello and GRN Funds, LLC at 3000 Northup Way, Suite 101, Bellevue, WA 98004 with Clearview, a registered and licensed process server at March 26, 2020 at 4:21 p.m. However, as the building was vacant, service was not successful at that location."

"On March 26, 2020 at 5:14 p.m., a fourth attempt was made to serve Pacific Banking Corp., a Washington corporation, Justin Costello and GRN Funds, LLC at 1000 2nd Ave. Seattle, Washington. However process service was not successful as the building was vacant."

"On April 11, 2020 at 8:08 p.m., I attempted personal service of the Summons, Complaint and Ex Parte Application for Temporary Restraining Order along with a copy of theOrder Granting Ex Parte Temporary Restraining Order And Setting Preliminary Injunction Hear-ing on Justin Costello at 38180 SE Northern Street, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. I was not able to complete service on Justin Costello and was advised by the resi-dent that Mr. Costello no longer resides at that address and that she no longer communicates with him."

You say

Did you expect JC to call up the plaintiff's lawyer to tell him where he is?

If he had any interest in defending himself, yes he would

Are you kidding - Costello was hiding from service - and they didn't serve the wrong Costello that is the same BS he pulled in Wisconsin.

"His home address is known, yet they served the wrong JC at another address and then did nothing for months thinking they already gave it to him. Did you expect JC to call up the plaintiff's lawyer to tell him where he is? You can't just say this is all on JC"

"After FOX6's Contact 6 received Gallo's complaint, is was discovered the company has a "F"-rating with the BBB for failing to respond to 12 other complaints. It was also learned the company is registered to a "Justin Joseph Costello" both with the BBB and the Department of Financial Institutions."

https://fox6now.com/2013/09/04/contact-6-looks-into-limousine-companys-strange-behavior/

"When Contact 6 called the company, someone named "Joe" said Justin is no longer with the company, and another person named "Jeff" then said he recently took over. He also said that "there was some damage done" at the company and that "a couple customers weren't taken care of properly." He asked us to email the complaint to him - so Contact 6 did - but never heard back."

Why is Costello avoiding service - and the answer is yes - if there are mitigating circumstances for Costello not to pay the $1 million for California state taxes - then why not accept service and respond?

Because Costello has so many problems and there isn't any defense.

He can't play in Federal Court like he did in Wisconsin state Court.
