They remain vague to keep the story going as long as possible so the paychecks keep flowing to insiders. If they were transparent and put out all of the technical details the stock would immediately crash to zero as everyone would realize the technology is fundamentally flawed and has failed.
Why do you think they never release a full suite of test results like the other legitimate companies? Test results are not proprietary information that need to be hidden if the device works as intended. In fact, they would be shouting from the roof tops if things were good.
