Amarin wanting to settle depends on what generics were willing to offer. I cannot state that any more simply.

Why would they not settle?

As mentioned before:
Will Dr. Bhatt et al suddenly stop talking about Vasc...er, Icosapent ethyl? (not to mention the 10 august medical societies that have endorsed it?)

This was the drug that didn't need reps...it was going to "sell itself".
