I don’t think they are the same person. I did a google search for joseph gentile out of New York and his obituary was dated March 15th. Gates last post was march 21st. So the timeline is off about a week for that to be him. Also Joseph gentile has been in hospice care up until when he passed on the 15th at 87. Don’t think he would have been posting up until that if he were in hospice care. Hopefully he’s ok just hunkered down fishing somewhere.
