I had always wondered if all of Amarin's setbacks were due to an effort by BP to just "slow down" Amarin's progress until BP could bring to market similar drugs. And the "slow down" may have included funding the Generics.
Just think of the time gained by BP because of the Generics.

Astra Zeneca's Farxiga and Lilly's Jardiance coupled with their GLP-1 receptor agonists will BE blockbusters as they are game changers in Heart Failure and CVD--this very same population are the candidates for statin plus Vascepa. I find as a physician the decision making is not tough we have just to prescribe and prescribe..we are spoilt for choice in a way that never existed in my career as a cardiologist...
I know DTC works but with everything else going on and costs to worry about those 800 reps pounding MD's offices once the shutdown ends will reap very real rewards...
