Apple is starting to use BMG’s.

In all seriousness and with no disrespect meant, is that rumor/speculation or fact? Did Apple make an announcement that I missed or has some component been subject to metallurgic analysis?
TIA

“We just obtained an international presence in a real way. There’s a plan here. We just don’t know it yet. But it’s so close you can smell it.”

Indeed! The fragrance is in the air.

Good post. Nice facts!

I only see that BASF acquired, on February 14, 2012, the former Energy Conversion Devices Inc. operating subsidiary "Ovonic Battery Company". The facilities in Michigan were once those of OBC.

Where is the link that says BASF owns Eutectix?

-----------
Eutectix LLC wasn't founded until 2014 and is listed as privately held. The only connection I see was that Great West Materials Group bought Ovonic owned the facility, sold it

"Eutectix LLC was founded in 2014 by Dr. John de Neufville, CEO, Dr. Henry Lee, Interim COO, Thomas Smith, CFO, and Robert Russotti, CMO. All four founders of Eutectix worked together at Voltaix, Inc., a leading manufacturer of gases and chemicals for the photovoltaic and semiconductor industries."

"Eutectix, LLC formed in May 2014 when it acquired the former Ovonic Materials manufacturing facilities at 1864 Northwood Drive Troy Michigan from Great Western Minerals Group. Great Western Minerals Group operated the facilities as Great Western Technologies Inc. (GWTI) from 2007."

I’m trying to independently verify your info Kanadien... no disrespect.

I can’t follow your ‘map’ to the assertions you make.

Found this link on Eutectix website:

https://eutectix.com/about/company-history/

Don’t see that it says BASF owns Eutectix

I also found this link/list of shares/companies owned by BASF which lists companies and percentages they own as of 2019 (info stated updated as recent as Feb 2020:

https://www.basf.com/global/documents/en/news-and-media/publications/reports/2020/BASF_SE_List_of_Shares_Held_2019.pdf

Eutectix is not listed in this pdf. They do indicate they owned 100% of OBC (Ovonics).

Is that the tie in to Eutectix?
