"WHEREFORE, plaintiffs pray as follows:
1. For a Judgment in their favor and against PBC, Costello and GRN.
2. For compensatory damages in excess of $2.8 million for funds held by PBC and
Costello and for in excess of an additional $500,000 to CANN for penalties imposed against it by
the State of California.
3. For exemplary and punitive damages.
4. For issuance of a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction and
permanent injunction prohibiting PBC, Costello and GRN from dissipating plaintiffs’ funds in any
manner except at the express direction of plaintiffs.
5. For a Declaratory Judgment pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2201 that PBC and Costello
are obligated to indemnify, defend, and hold plaintiffs harmless from and against any claim or
liability asserted by the State of California and plaintiffs' vendors.
6. For their costs of litigation; and
7. For such other and further relief as the Court may deem just and proper."

"If the court has entered a default judgment against you, the plaintiff can collect it like any other judgment. That means she can try to garnish your wages or attach your bank accounts, among other things."

If a civil complaint goes to a jury trial - they either find for the plaintiff (guilty) or the defendant (not guilty).

If the jury finds for the plaintiff, it will also usually set out the amount the defendant should pay the plaintiff for damages, often after a separate hearing concerning damages.

The problem for Costello and GRNF shareholders is that the amount of money involved in the Costello fraud.

Bank fraud: A fine of up to $1,000,000 and/or a prison sentence of up to 30 years

Mail and wire fraud: Both carry a maximum prison sentence of up to 20 years. If the scheme also involved a bank, the potential fine increases to up to $100,000: [18 U.S.C. Section 1343]

Costello can probably get around 10 years if he pleads guilty - if he takes it to trial he will get 20 years.

We have an attorney who posts that is a expert in the Federal sentencing guidelines!
