What irks me about the bankruptcy is they claim they need/plan to upgrade more customers to FIOS. When they took over Indiana, Verizon had left them a local warehouse filled with everything they needed to install FIOS in ALL of northern Indiana and then some. Instead, they sold it all at pennies on the dollar.
